Lalithakala Akademi awards

Thrissur: Various awards and fellowships instituted by the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi have been announced. S.G. Vasudev has been selected for the K.C.S. Panicker Award, which carries a purse of Rs.1 lakh.

T.K. Padmini award

T.V. Santhosh has been chosen for the T.K. Padmini award, which carries a purse of Rs.30,000, a citation and a statuette.

R. Sivakumar has been selected for the Kesari Award, which includes a cash prize of Rs.30,000.

The Akademi fellowships for 2010, which carry a purse of Rs.30,000, a citation and a statuette each, go to Riyaz Komu and S. Ajayakumar.
