VIJAYAWADA, MAY 19. Floral tributes were paid to Communist leader, Puchchalapalli Sundaraiah, at Sundaraiah Bhavan, the office of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), to mark his 19th death anniversary here on Wednesday.
The death anniversary was observed by party activists in all the 50 divisions in the city. Central committee member and Nidumolu MLA-elect, Pathuri Ramaiah, district secretary, V.Umamaheswara Rao, participated in the programme.
The death anniversary was observed by activists at various centres in Singhnagar, One Town, Krishna Lanka, Central and Patamata zones. Members of the Shop Employees, Motor Workers, Hotel Workers and Building workers unions also paid tributes to Mr Sundaraiah.
