After a stint with the Taj group of hotels, he became Demi Chef de Partie with Saudi Airlines in Sa udi Arabia. He joined the Park Hotel, Chennai as Sous Chef in 2004. Chef Baskar heads the Banquets Kitchen as well as the Madras Club, an initiative of The Park, at The Madras Club.
