Sari fest

Anagha is hosting a festival of Tussar and jute Tussar saris brought from Champa in Chhattisgarh till June 21 between 10. 30 am and 7.30 pm. Tussar silk fabric, also known as Kosa in Sanskrit, is valued for its purity and texture. It is lightweight and airy, yet dressy, allowing the wearer cool comfort. There are saris aplenty in bright colours with contrasting borders, rising borders, temple borders, others with hand embroidery and hand painting. MoH will be showcasing its High Summer’08 collection at Anonym on June 20 at 7.30 pm. Festive Drums, a contemporary dance performance by Tripura Kashyap, is also part of the event at Little Italy, 275, Film Nagar, opposite KBR Park.
