Oz Restaurant has now a new Mediterranean menu
|
Oz Restaurant at MGF Plaza, Gurgaon has a new menu for its food and cocktails. Known for its Mediterranean cuisine, the new menu enlists soups, salads, mezze, pastas, desserts and a wide range of platters to choose from.
"The customers need change, as they get bored with the same kind of food being served for long. We have changed almost 70 per cent of the menu," says Daman Sodhi, Restaurant Director.
The main course includes Chicken strognoff, prawn and fish charmoula and grilled salmon with caper sauce. Vegetarians can also find the wholesome platters like the vegetarian brushchetta, Moroccan vegetable stew and mezze platter. Brushchetta is assorted chopped vegetables with cheese on toasted garlic bread. "Though earlier we had only 30 per cent of the vegetarian items in our menu, now it has been increased to 40 per cent," adds Sodhi. In the case of the bar, the menu has Oz specials like the Mediterranean blue, mojito, vodka twister and Italian smooch. It also includes a wide range of imported whiskeys, shooters and cognacs, etc.
The highlight of menu is the complete description of all the items, which helps in making the customers comfortable with the new food. "Our customers should know what we are serving them. People can relish the food as well as the wine," says Sodhi. Peppermint Lemonate has a refreshing feeling, which helps in getting rid of the scorching heat of the summer. Oz offers hukka in different flavours. They have recently introduced a five star flavour. After you are done with your eating, you could try desserts, especially the Baklava.
