Forever elegant

Nikhaar has brought both traditional and modern branded jewellery under one roof

Branded and 18 carat gold jewellery, diamonds of your specification brought down from Antwerp in Belgium, coloured stone jewellery and much more is on display at Nikhaar, the new jewellery and branded watch showroom at Richmond Circle.

Traditional designs share space here with the modern, with in-house designers chipping in to create custom-made jewellery exactly the way you want. New-age branded platinum jewellery is also their forte. So are international brands of wristwatches.

Elaborate Kundan pendant sets, coloured stone with gold jewellery and diamonds in all shapes, sizes and colours are their specialty, says Nikhaar's Manager Urish Chajed. The bridal line includes some very high-end diamonds in elaborate designs.

Managed by Hassan Gems and Jewellery Pvt. Ltd in partnership with the Moguldiam Group, Nikhaar has access to collectable diamonds and coloured stones from markets all over the world — from Hong Kong and U.S. to Belgium and Dubai.

The two groups have their own manufacturing units for fancy stones, besides the added advantage of having access to top-notch diamond manufacturers around the globe. The jewellery store, spread over two floors, has an elaborate display for customers to choose from. Platinum, Arisia, D'damas, Damas Solitaire, Glitterati, Christian Dior and Tagheuer are some of the brands they house at Nikhaar.

"We also do a lot of really high-end jewellery where you will find one-of-a-kind pieces of jewellery - be it neck pieces, ear-rings, bracelets or anything," says Urish.

Hassan Gems has a history dating back to the '70s when its founder Bapu Hussain created a jewellery network that spanned Delhi, Bangalore, towns in Tamil Nadu, all the way down to Sri Lanka. The family then spread its business far and wide to reach UAE and Thailand. The Moguldiam Group founder too has an interesting history dating to the '70s when its founder Vinod Kumar Jain started off in the diamond jewellery market in Mumbai and their family network spread all the way to Antwerp in Belgium. Together, Syed Ibne Hassan and Vinod Jain today have created Nikhaar.

Nikhaar is located at 10/2 and 10/4, Richmond Circle. Call the shop on 22103266/77/88/99. The store is open all seven days of the week between 10.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m.
