A BIG BITE

A 100-FOOT pizza is all set to raise funds for tsunami victims. 24 FM, a 24-hour food mela, starts on Saturday February 5 at 7 p.m. at the Royal Orchid and ends on Sunday evening. It's set to be an entertaining weekend with games, fire-eaters, magicians sharing space and attention with a large variety of cocktails, starters, breakfasts, lunches and dinners — all under one roof.

Raghu, well-known singer of the Antaragni band and Orchid's in-house DJ, will set the tunes going. Touted as the largest pizza ever made, the 100-foot pizza will require 250 kg of flour, 120 kg of cheese and 60 kg of toppings. The vegetarian pizza with a tomato base will also use olive oil. The pizza will be on display from 11 a.m. on Sunday and slices will be auctioned to raise money for charity. For bookings, contact 25203366.
