Shopping fest
UMS HAS organised "Electron' 05", a New Year sale of electronic goods, at Rathna Regent on Avinashi Road. Choose from nearly 30 models of home theatres, colour televisions, DVD and VCD players, grinders, stabilisers and the like.
Organised by Dansai Corporation, an authorised distributor of UMS products, the exhibition features high-end items. Discounts range from 40 to 75 per cent. The show concludes on January 15.
N. Rajashekar, Assistant General Manager - Marketing, UMS Services Limited, said they organised these mega shows four time a year.
Handloom show
It's going to be handlooms galore at the exhibition organised by the Handloom Development Board and the State Handloom Department at Loom World in Saibaba Colony.
Choose from hand-woven sarees, Covai cotton sarees and kora sarees and bedsheets from Chennimalai, carpets from Bhavani and absorbent towels.
A discount of 20 per cent is offered on all purchases at the expo, which concludes on January 12.
