New Year fiesta

NEW YEAR is all about partying and revelry. Hotels and cultural organisations in the city have got together to ring in the New Year with festivity. At Hotel City Tower, a live orchestra, dance, mimicry, games and other events have been organised for New Year eve. You can also choose from an expansive buffet that has more than 35 items. For details, contact 94433-34785/2230681.

The Kerala Catholic Association and Pavizham Jewellers have organised `Christmas and New Year Celebration 2004' at the Circus Ground, Dr. Nanjappa Road, on December 26. A `mega dance nite' will also be held.

`Kerala Kalolsavam', put together by the Kathakali Club Charitable Trust and Pavizham Jewellers, at Circus Ground on December 27 will feature Kathakali, Mohiniyattam and Kalaripayattu performances. The Kathakali recital `Vasundharam' is about `Vasundhara' (Earth), a personification of all the good things in the world.
