Super Sunday brunch

Here is a quick recipe that won't eat up your time

TRY THIS easy-to-make dish which will be savoured by your family.

LIVER WITH APPLES

Ingredients

Lamb liver — 200 gm.
Onion — 2
Apple — 1
Flour — 2 tbsp
Green chillies — 2
Pepper powder — 1/2tsp
Worcestershire sauce — 1tsp
Sugar — a dash
Butter — 2 tbsp
Salt — to taste
Slices of toasted bread

Method

Cut the lamb liver into slices. Dredge the liver in flour; seasoned with salt, pepper and dash of chilli powder if desired. Heat half the butter and sauté the liver pieces till brown. Heat the remaining butter in a separate pan and fry the sliced onions and the chopped chillies till tender.

Do not brown. Strain out the onions and add to liver. Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce. Slice the apple and fry in the same pan in which the onions were fried, on a low heat till barely tender. Sprinkle sugar. Place the liver and onion on rounds of toast and top with apple. Place under grill for a few minutes and serve.
