Choosing the right menu

THE GOLDEN rule here at `Thank Goodness Its Friday', widely known as TGI Friday's, is change - and change for better to stay in today's competitive environment. And TGIF has introduced new menu based on the choice of customers. The restaurant is inviting guests to exercise their vote to help them create a new menu according to their choiceThe new menu was unveiled on Tuesday.

Sanjoy Roy, Vice President, Operations, T.G.I.FRIDAY'S says, "We have 60 dishes in old menu and we will introduce 30 more according the choice of customers". Once in three months, the restaurant renews its existing menu, the popular ones are retained, and some new ones are introduced.

T.G.I.FRIDAY'S is essentially a casual dining establishment offering a varied menu for vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian. The menu includes spicy chicken, yummy chimmi changa and desserts like classic chocolate malt cake, mocha mud pie and apple pie. Its International menu offers Mexican, Cajun, pastas, pizzas and its own speciality foods. It also has a range of cocktails and mocktails.

Chimmi changa is a mouth watery dish in the old menu, which Sanjoy hopes maximum number of consumers will vote for and might be retained. Besides voting, the customers dining here will get a chance to participate in jackpot also and the winner would get a chance to stay in Radisson, Goa for three days, with his family.

In the Capital for eight years now, TGI has outlets in Mumbai, Bangalore and Gurgaon also.
