Geometrics at Ambara

AMBARA IS presenting a host of products based on abstract and geometric designs for its annual autumn exhibition from September 8 to 11.

On show will be a collection of casual Indo-Western wear, kurtis, tops, pyjamas, salwars, skirts, and ghagras by various designers, including Arti Shantakumar of OMO. The long-awaited men's kurtis are being brought by Veda of Mumbai. Shashiv Chandran of Utsav, Delhi, is bringing his saris, dupattas and fabric in a new range of weaves and prints. Rasya presents cushion covers by Patrick Wilson and handbags in silk designed by artisans. A creative range of mandalas on canvas and on digital prints produced by Belgian artist Jean Letschert will be showcased under the aegis of Jaya Mani's Dravidam.

In a homage to Ganesha, sculptor C.V. Ramesh is presenting copper relief geometric images of the deity to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi.

Also on sale are orchids and Fengshui bamboos imported from Thailand, foliage and flowering plants, and lotus and water lilies. Garden elements in ceramic and terracotta are available too.
