Designs for the festival season
HERE COMES the festive season, and along with it the spirit of good cheer and celebration. A time for women to take out their best silks, preserved for special occasions, along with matching accessories. And just in case you are fretting over having no traditional jewellery go with your traditional attire, then the market has quite a few interesting offers.
Tanishq has unveiled its special collection of traditional jewellery to celebrate the Varamahalakshmi festival. The Varamahalakshmi Pooja collection is Ethno-Indian and the designs are set in 22k gold. Tanishq is offering a half-gram gold coin for every purchase of Rs. 10,000. The gold coins offer, say the people at the store, is in an effort to provide customers with added value for the special occasion. The offer is valid from August 17 till September 4.
Ruby fest
Rajarathnam Jewellers is holding the ruby and emerald fest for the festival season. The fest showcases more than 5,000 pieces of crafted jewellery, set with rubies, emeralds, and blue sapphires. The collection offers necklaces, pendants, earrings, bangles, bracelets, armlets, waistbands, sari pins, and brooches. The collection is priced at Rs. 2,000 upwards.
Besides this, there is also a range of traditional and contemporary designs in platinum, gold, diamond, and semi-precious stones. The sale, on at the Rajarathnam showroom, Devatha Plaza, concludes on August 23.
