Kiddie corner

The new shop for children is something residents of Mangalore can look forward to

Children's Corner on Balmatta Road has a wide range of garments

SHOPPING FOR kids' stuff is always fun, what with all the colour and cute shapes and designs available. The choice of children's clothing that has flooded the market today offers a mind-boggling range for any baby.

Stands out

As one walks down Balmatta Road in the city, quite a few shops vie for your attention. But this particular one may stand out, grabbing your eye's attention with colourful little garments dotting the display window. Started way back in 1982, Children's Corner, the first of its kind when it started, catered solely to children's garments.

The store that recently relocated on Balmatta Road again, retails clothes for all age groups starting with infants and going up to 14 years of age.

The outfits here come in all kinds and colours. The choice of fabric ranges from simple skin-friendly cotton or the monsoon-friendly synthetics. The outfits are retailed from Mumbai and sometimes even from Delhi and Bangalore.

Infant products

Besides kiddie clothes, the store also retails infant products such as powders and oils, socks, blankets, pillows, baby mattresses, and mosquito nets. The choices in children's outfits here range from the simple and sober everyday casual wear to the more glitzy party and festival wear.

The price tags range from below Rs.100 to over Rs.1,000.

The store can be a real a treat for the children to choose their own clothes and goodies from and offers a good deal to parents looking for quality for their money.

The store is located on Balmatta Road, near Jyoti Circle. For more information on the range of garments, the store can be contacted at 2428222.
