WANTED! Some eye candy

TIME IS now for yet another talent hunt. This time, the chase is for someone from the "Khallas" breed. Quite rightly so, the organisers, Zee Music are calling it a hunt for an "Item Bomb."

Having tied up with director Sanjay Gupta and actor Sanjay Dutt's production houses having jointly rolling out the upcoming film Musafir, Zee Music plans to search for a girl to perform an item number in it. Come August 6, judges would be travelling out to zero in on the right one in New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai and even in London and Dubai to "offer platform to young girls to perform opposite Sanjay Dutt."

Gupta, the man behind the idea, says the deciding factors for the winner would be "excellent dancing skills and a great body." Well, the film has Sameera Reddy too, who you all know, came to limelight through a dance number in Darna Mana Hai. So, where is the space or rather need for another face?

Gupta corrects though, "She is the heroine of the film. And you know, heroine of a film can never do an item number." In Gupta's Kaante, there were two item girls - Malaika Arora and Ishaa Koppikar - to do the needful and no heroine as such. Zee Music and T-Series will soon launch an audio CD "Item Bomb Blast" comprising 16 item numbers from films like Khakee, Chameli, Company, Kaante and Pyar Tune Kya Kiya.

"The contestants will get an opportunity to perform on one of the songs from the compilation at the auditions," Gupta informs.

The film too would get solid publicity as Zee Music is all set to run promos and later show the talent hunt auditions on all the 26 channels of Zee network.
