Food fests

WINDSOR SHERATON and Towers is hosting Apno Gaon, a festival that offers the tastes of the Marwar region of Rajasthan. Rajasthan cuisine uses a range of dehydrated stalks, beans and berries in interesting combinations to make up for the absence of green vegetables in the desert region. This climatic compulsion gives this cuisine an unusual taste. The festival at Raj Pavilion is on till August 8. Call 22269898 for details.

Café Mozaic at Taj Residency is offering an altogether different taste every Friday, between 11.30 p.m. and 2 a.m. Called Asian Street Food Adventure, it brings foods from the bylanes of Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, and Thailand. Call 56604444 for reservations.
