Royale reinventions
MIRAGE, THE popular nightclub in the Crowne Plaza Surya, has upgraded itself in all ways, and now welcomes Delhi's partying crowd as the Royale Mirage. The change in name is of course synonymous with the new look, which attempts at evoking the divergent cultures of France and Arabia, and their characteristic love for luxury.
Corporate Manager Kunal Malhotra conceived the new theme for Royale Mirage along with the designer duo Rohit and Matin. The interiors boast of a lot of firsts, like a curved motorised glass sliding door, which gives the VVIP area in the nightclub the choice to remain exclusive or alternatively to participate in the larger scene. Royale Mirage also introduces popular features of nightclubs in the West, which promises to change the party scene in the Capital. With the introduction of the unique table culture, one can book tables around the dance floor for an evening.
Even the snacks on offer are borrowed from French and Arabic cuisine. In fact, the blend of Western and Eastern tastes spills into the music too. Giving the local notes of the resident deejay Mohit an international touch is deejay Nathaniel John Hall, who specialises in House and Commercial music.
The Royale Mirage will be open four days a week, from Wednesday to Saturday. If the launch party held recently was anything to go by, with a large number of celebrities attending the event, then the nightclub seems to have already hit the right note with the party goers in the Capital.
