THE COOL versus the hot food fest that could suit all of us. When the temperature is climbing high in the air due to the hot happenings like the elections and the blazing summer sun is knocking us down with its severity, we have some places offering the best of any menu to help us face the summer with a smile.

DV Manor, with its two massive food festivals on at the same time, is pleasing many people with its multiplicity of delicious cooling food accompanied by the hot yummy dishes is a mouth-watering treat.

The Coolers & Shakers fest offering a range of chilling Milk shakes, Ice creams, Cock tails, Smoothies with titles in the vein of Blushing beauty, Tom and Jerry, Lady in Black, Spice Girl, Nude Dude etc. would throw you in a catch-22 situation as to which lady or dude you would want to scoop up with.

While the Coolers & Shakers is on throughout the summer, Manor also has a distinct fest that you could feast upon. If you are that Chinese food freak then this is something you shouldn't miss checking.

The Dragon fest with an array of Chinese dishes including the Yum-Yum soups, Shanghai delicacies etc. that could cater to the vegetarian crowd and if you are a non veggie, then you have a wide menu to choose, from fish to lamb, chicken to prawns you get all the delicacies served in the best delightful way.

The attraction of the menu surely would be the Pothau/Chiu, which includes any desired dish, blended with a favourite drink, like Vodka chicken, Rum pepper chicken, Steamed Fish with wine etc. Whether it is going chop chop with the chopsticks or let the soothing effect reign your throat, it is all-available at one groovy place. The expert team behind the scene lead by Brijesh Thakur, the chief chef and the Chinese chef, Lieu, is quite a combination that could set any number of tables and win any number of hearts with their flavoured recipes. Working with the DV Manor from the start, this duo sure seems to be an asset to the kitchen of the Hotel. Many things about summer might make you hum "It's a summer!

A cruel cruel summer," yet there are places you can go and things you can do to make the summer a little cool and this could be that little something.
