Seafood sizzlers

THERE IS no need for the seafood lovers to be at a beach resort or at a coastal area to savour their favourite seafood items. They can now just drive into The Village Restaurant Complex, Siri Fort road, for an authentic seafood experience at the Chopsticks where a Seafood Festival is on till mid-March. Chopsticks Restaurant is noted for its Chinese cuisine and with chicken falling out of favour, thanks to the bird flu scare, here is a treat for the seafood lovers. The special offer gives the seafood lovers a chance to have the best of seafood.

The Festival promises an array of exotic seafood delicacies for its guests. With a daily change in the menu for the buffet there is a delight in store for the guests every time they come. A meal would approximately cost Rs.450 throughout the Festival. The guests also have the option of going in for the normal course other than the buffet.

The guests can start their meal with a special seafood soup, which combines crab, prawns and fish. The appetisers like `fish pearl balls', `whole lobster pepper salt' gives them a variety to choose from. The main course has the favourite `diced lobsters' and `steamed king prawns' for the food lovers. These are some of the enjoyable delicacies among the many to choose from the special seafood range at the festival. To round off the sumptuous meal, a range of desserts is also on offer.

"A special `Live Seafood Counter' has also been set up, so that the selected dishes can be prepared in the presence of the guests who have ordered them just to bring some excitement to the whole experience," says Vikas Arora, the General Manager of the restaurant.

The festival might prove to be an unforgettable experience for those who have a taste for the oriental cuisine.
