Steeling beauty

A new avatar for stainless steel

THE STRENGTH of stainless steel lies in its durability and the fact that unlike other metals it does not rust or degenerate. Yet, this magnificent creation of modern science has always been shy of the glory it deserves.

Of late, however designers, producers and marketing specialists have been brought together to exploit the possibilities that stainless steel offers in the lifestyle and related goods segment.

Jindal Stainless, the flagship company of the Jindal Organisation, is introducing its lifestyle range to the twin cities tomorrow. Art d'Inox, a range of 50 designer products has been launched in the segments of giftware, office desk accessories, environmental art, stainless art, bar essentials, in fusion with other materials and as utility products.

The designs are contemporary, classic in style and have an understated elegance. "With Art d'Inox, Jindal plans to take upmarket steel accessories to the common man," says Sugato Bose, head of the lifestyle products division of Jindal Stainless Limited.

The introductory range will be on display from Feb 20 - 27 at Elahe, Opp. KBR Park, Road No: 2, Banjara Hills.
