Chinese food, Indian price

YES! IT is true. Or give that a bit of Uncle Sam's lingo and you come up as Yo! It's true. After the success at the Gurgoan outlet, Yo! China has now opened its new outlet in the busy South Delhi market of Vasant Vihar. The speciality Chinese restaurant follows around 10 months after the Metropolitan Mall in Gurgaon.

It specialises in the Chinese favourite item of dimsums. There are also the main course meals to go along with that, which include rice, noodles and others, that can be served for individuals and also in large portions. In the desserts, chocolate sin is the most popular one.

"The concept of Yo! China came up as we have either the hawkers or really expensive Chinese cuisines in the market. Our idea is to offer Chinese street hawker pricing with quality Chinese food," says Ashish Kapoor, Managing Director.

The ambience of the place is not that of typical Chinese outlet. The restaurant also provides packed lunches for corporate houses. It also gives the option to children for organising birthday parties for which there is a specially designed menu. The concept behind Yo is to give it a trendy name to go with its trendy ambience. They have also done away with the appearance of the traditional staid Chinese restaurant and given it a trendy look with bright red and yellow interiors. "We want to open a chain of restaurants in and around the Capital and then gradually around the whole country. We have plans to open around 10 outlets by the end of the year in the city," says Ajay Saini, Operations Director.
