Terracotta treat

Fountains undoubtedly break the monotony in any interior. Water flowing from an aesthetically created fountain soothes the senses and adds visual delight. The Heritage, Anna Nagar, has organised an exhibition of fountains in terracotta, specially for those with space and budget constraints.

The themes are varied — horses and angels to Feng Shui and religion. Each piece is exclusive, there is no repetition of themes. The colour schemes are subtle and the figurines are tastefully created. Some of them have a three dimensional effect because of the unique terra-batik finish. The fountains that are bound to add a refreshing touch to interiors are priced at Rs. 2,500 upwards.

Also on show at the exhibition is a large collection of Ganeshas in varied media, Tanjore paintings, brass, copper and marble artefacts, murals and silk paintings. For details contact A-7 Anna Nagar East, phone 98400 70026/ 26191409.
