HERE'S WHAT city hotels have to offer during Christmas week.
At the ITC Kakatiya Sheraton Hotel and Towers, a live band will play at Dublin, on Christmas Eve. Tickets are priced at Rs. 1,200 per couple.
Christmas Eve dinner will be served at the Deccan Pavilion from 8 p.m. onwards. The elaborate spread will include salads like Waldorf, cold cuts like chicken pistachio, roast turkey with cranberry sauce and Derby chicken with morel sauce. The vegetarian fare includes lasagne verte, crepe Napolitaine and sliced cottage cheese with mustard sauce. Dakshin offers gongura mamsam, pepper chicken, and last but not the least, desserts include Christmas pudding with sabayon sauce, traditional Christmas cake, Yule log, dark chocolate truffle gateaux and fruit trifle. . The dinner is priced at Rs. 750 per head excluding taxes.
On Christmas day, lunch at the Deccan Pavilion includes German potato salad, cold cuts like turkey and olive rolls and duck roulade. The continental fare includes roast chicken with fine herb sauce, and shepherd's pie. Kebabs include chandi tikka. And biryani varieties are Lucknawi gosht biryani, while Chinese includes Governor's chicken and desserts include traditional plum pudding with brandy sauce, Norwegian omelette, chocolate mousse, snow hat, ebony and ivory gateaux, lemon and cheese cake. Priced at Rs. 775 per head excluding taxes. The Christmas lunch includes a full beverage buffet.

The Taj Group of Hotels promises something unique for every age group. At Encounters, Taj Krishna there will be a Christmas Eve buffet dinner on the December 24.
