Warmth of light

Estelle's new range is a blend of the contemporary and the traditional

ESTELLE OF Normak, the makers of costume jewellery for the modern, elegant woman, has unveiled the Warmth of Light Collection 2003. The range uses epoxy colours to lend it a traditional, classical look. It re-invents the past with hues of Ferozi royal blue, magenta, and mauve, and classic Mughal motives.

The use of brass, copper, gold, and silver is meant to give the jewellery an antique look. Etched and carved metal, beaten gold, inlay work, traditional shapes, and Indian motifs — along with bold colours and material — lend the range a modern look too.

The collection, ethno-contemporary, includes amethyst, black diamond, crystal, and Montana. Available at all Shoppers' Stop and Lifestyle Stores, the collection is priced between Rs. 200 and Rs. 3,000.
