Spirit of the season

IF YOU'RE the type who loves sending out stacks of Christmas and New Year greetings, there's more you can do this year than just spread the season's joy among friends and relatives.

Archies, the greeting card and gift company, has tied up with HelpAge India to introduce a special range of cards, calendars, diaries, planners, organisers and telephone indexes. The items are embellished with the HelpAge logo and all proceeds go towards HelpAge projects. HelpAge India has been working to improve the quality of life of the underprivileged elderly. So this year, your New Year wishes will make more than just your family smile.

The New Year cards come in a range of designs from fresh floral patterns to breathtaking scenery and abstracts. Traditional Rajasthani scenes, cheerful Christmas trees, doves of peace and flickering candles on paper capture the season's mood. The cards are priced from Rs. 8 to 14 and value packs of 12 cards for the price of Rs.10 are also available. Pretty table top calendars and classy-looking black and tan bound diaries and planners complete the new year range.
