Bacardi Breezer

AT THE Grand, Vasant Kunj, it's a treat of unlimited Bacardi Breezers every Friday, Saturday and Sunday with regular buffet for lunch and dinner priced at Rs.520 and 600 plus. It comes with an introduction of dish and soup of the day, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Also 10 flavours of tea from all tea estates are served with English teacakes and finger sandwiches. At it's Gourmet Shop one can have traditional German cakes as Rehrucken, Malalaoff Torte as well as a new vegetarian menu at Enoki along with Teppanyaki and Yakitori that it serves. The offer runs through September.

Italian Food Fest

TAJ PALACE celebrates Trattoria Food Festival of Italy at its Kafe Fontana as Sous chef Oswin Rebeiro from Trattoria Restaurant, Mumbai lands here to prepare wide selection of Italian pasta, meats, vegetables, mini meals as sandwiches burgers and salads, etc. The food is served with Italian wines. The festival is on till this coming Monday.

Sea Food


CRABS, MUSSELS, salmon, sole and other delicacies from sea are available at Intercontinental ParkRoyal, Nehru Place where these are placed before the visitors and cooked the way they like. Also at Empress of China, it is a celebration of August Moon festival for which chef Thomas fuses flavours of stuffed lotus stem, steamed whole fish Cantonese style, deep fried lamb with cumin, steamed crab or stuffed lettuce rolls. August Moon fest concludes this coming Sunday.

At Radisson Hotel, August Moon Festival, beginning this Thursday, continues till September 25. Chef Zheng has been specially flown in from China for the festival.

Citrus Twist

GUINNESS UDV launches Smirnoff Twist, a new citrus flavoured vodka brand in Delhi, which otherwise is available in raspberry and orange flavours. Introduced in 750 ml SKU with 42.8 per cent v/v, in crystal clear, triple distilled quality, it is available in a specially designed twisted bottle and priced at a slight premium over Smirnoff.

Pub Menu

THE IRISH pub, Dublin at Maurya Sheraton and Towers launches a revised pub menu consisting of continental and Indian dishes making a dinner menu, both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. To provide Delhi touch, they offer Lutyens' menu, which is a fusion of Indian and British food.

Kerala Festival


ASHOK HOTEL organises Kerala Festival in coordination with Kerala State Tourism Department in which authentic vegetarian and non-vegetarian food from Malabar, Central Kerala and Travancore is presented with the helps of chefs specially flown in. The festival also features rich art of Kerala like Kathkali, Mohiniattam, Theyyam, Ottam Thullal and Martial Art Kalari Payuttu. Artists from Kerala also perform temple art forms as Theyyam. The festival concludes this coming Sunday. Also Intercontinental The Grand, Barakhamba Avenue, celebrates Kerala Food Festival at its Rendezvous restaurant. It is offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialities from Kerala for buffet lunch and dinner that costs Rs.555 plus taxes. It is served by staff dressed in traditional attire, while banana leaf tablemats and special décor capturing the essence of Kerala is an added feature. Here also performers from the state present various traditional dance items in the evening. The festival concludes on September 21.
