Thick fun in thin crust
HEAR YE, hear ye... all those pizza aficionados, with an eye for carbohydrates, Domino's Pizzas have launched its all new `Thin Crust Pizza,' with a light and crispy crust, available in all sizes and toppings. Intended to "enhance the eating experience" by increasing the mouth feel of the cheese and toppings in the pizza, the thin crust range is targeted at "young adults, women, and light eaters"
. "Keeping in mind the feedbacks from our consumers, we've made the crust specially `karak' for India so that we can add to the consumers eating experience," offers Arvind Nair, CEO, Domino's Pizzas India Ltd.
Nair adds, "Domino's Thin Crust is the result of our consistent effort to bring to our customers the best pizzas in the world. The Thin Crust is already a huge success in the United States and we are confident that it would be a welcome delight amongst our Indian customers."
True to its purpose, this light range does not seem to over-fill the stomach, and allows the eater to savour the flavour of the toppings of his choice. Though many may frown upon the price list, which is the same as the Hand Tossed Pizzas, which is from Rs. 69 to 339 depending upon the size and combination. The CEO justifies this by saying that it is much more difficult to make the thin crust. But as a promotional offer, the Thin Crust Pizza is available for Rs. 39 with any medium or regular pizza, and free with any large pizza. So anytime you need a mid-meal snack, drop in at any of the Domino's outlet, and try a thin crust. Bon appetit!
