Thin Pizza thick into Indian homes homes
YET ANOTHER reason for Indian Pizza lovers to celebrate! Pizza Hut has launched a new delicious range of Chicken `stuffed crust' pizzas at its restaurants across the country. Similar to the Cheese `stuffed crust' pizza range, which was launched last year, this new delicacy has a ring of chicken sausage stuffed right into the crust before it is baked, giving the taste buds a `chicken-y' experience through and through.
The new delectable crust is available in two sizes - Large (serves two) and Family (serves four), with the entire range of non-vegetarian toppings offered by Pizza Hut to choose from. So whether it is a Spicy Korma Chicken `Stuffed Crust' pizza, a Chick `n' Spicy or a Pepperoni - the Chicken `Stuffed crust' pizza range is available at all Pizza Hut dine-in and delivery units.
Market leader of the pizza category in India, Pizza Hut, in accord with its strategy in India- `International brand with an Indian heart', is the only international pizza chain with purely vegetarian dine-ins at Chaupati (Mumbai), Ahmedabad and Surat, which also serve Jain Menus.
"Pizza Hut is about delivering the greatest variety and highest quality products to consumers. Stuffed crust pizza is one of the most popular and innovative products in the pizza category worldwide and after the success introduction of the Cheese Stuffed crust pizza last year in India, we are confident that the exciting Chicken `Stuffed crust' will be greatly appreciated by pizza lovers", says Pankaj Batra, Director Marketing, Indian Subcontinent, Yum! Restaurants International.
A propriety signature product, this range of Chicken `stuffed crust' pizzas, which can be relished only at Pizza Hut restaurants across the world, is their latest endeavour to provide that extra value which puts a `Yum' on every customer's face.
IN KEEPING with its mission - "Wow every guest", Pizza Corner has launched Italian Pizzas that are essentially Italian and yet appetising to the Indian palate, on the occasion of their seventh year anniversary. The new menu includes a wide variety of soups, salads, appetizers, pastas `n' bakes and of course, pizzas. There is also a special Kids Menu especially designed with kids in mind. The highlight is the Italian range of pizzas launched only in the dine-in outlets.
Choose from Classic Neopolitan to Siciliana (for vegetarians) or, Romana to Rustica (for non-vegetarians), with a dash of extra virgin olive oil and oregano, from the Italian range or there are still the Classic and Desi Pizzas for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. But if not Pizza, the food lovers have a plenty of soups, salads (take special care to try out the Grilled Chicken Salad), appetisers (try the Focaccia and do not miss out on Hot Wings) or if you prefer baked delicacies, you've got classic "Old Fashioned" Grandma's recipe's in Grandma's Bakes, and end the meal with options ranging from their Apple Pie to Sundaes (hedonists stay away).
Says Anoop Sequeira, CEO, Pizza Corner India (P) Limited, "A new menu isn't simply redesigning the menu card... we have spent a good six months on research and sourcing of ingredients. We are also completing our seventh year of operations in August... we have been sumptuously successful. We owe this success to our guests and what better way to celebrate with our guest!"
The Pizza Corner chain, with 29 stores spread across six cities in India, including nine outlets in Delhi, and two more in the line, in Noida and Kaushambi (scheduled to open around mid September) also provides outdoor catering for marriages, children's birthday parties and also organises Pizza days at various corporate houses like McKenzie. This new menu has gone up a notch where the price list is concerned when compared to the previous menu, and they aren't offering any freebies (except in the Kids Menu), but as Anoop Sequeira says, "We base our sales on the quality of our pizzas and not on anything else".
