Tease the tastebuds


THE PARK Hotel, Gemini Circle, has lined up two exciting offers for the month of August at their all-hours restaurant, 601.

The first offer titled Differential Pricing, is on the lunch buffet, open from Monday to Saturday. On from 12.30p.m.-1.30 p.m., the lunch buffet is available at a special price of Rs. 299, taxes included.

The second offer is for the vegans and is open on Sundays. The dinner spread will have a vegetarian fare, from 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Rs. 350. What's more, chef Willi and his team will cook up some Jain delicacies.

Flavours from Lucknow

Think Lucknow and one can picture dancing girls in gorgeous costumes, and lip-smacking Awadhi cuisine. The style of cuisine is all about copper vessels, slow cooking,and lashing of malai and milk, and the spices.


The Kabul restaurant, 35, TTK Road, Alwarpet, is hosting the Awadh food festival till August 17.

Cheff Abdul Haleem has been specially flown all the way from Lucknow to treat Chennai-ites with his Awadhi specialities, which include bharwan aloo tandoori, mahi tikka methi and dum pukht biriyani.

Penchant for pizzas

Pizza Hut has come up with an innovative and delicious range chicken `stuffed crust' pizza at its 50 restaurants across the country. The new crust promises to be a culinary delight as it has a ring of succulent chicken stuffed right into the crust before it is baked to golden perfection.


The new stuffed crust pizzas are available in two sizes, large (serves two to three) and family (serves four), with the entire range of non-vegetarian toppings. So whether it is spicy kurma chicken, chicken tikka, chicken Hawaiian, chick'n'spicy, pepperoni or chicken supreme, the chicken stuffed crust pizza range is set to tantalise the tastebuds of pizza lovers.
