It's literally a Chinese invasion at Chola Sheraton with a variety of Chinese cuisine being showcased at the hotel's Shanghai Club. A new menu has been introduced, with popular dishes prepared by Chef Yang in their authentic form, at the same time catering for the Indian palate.

While the new fare represents eight regions of China, the dishes are spicier, with a focus on cuisine from Hunan and Sichuan. Some of the attractions on the menu are crispy spinach with sesame seeds and chillies, salt and pepper prawns, chrysanthemum fish with chilli sauce, Chef Yang's crispy duck with Sichuan pepper salt, Governor's chicken, sliced lamb with onion and cumin, stir-fried Chinese greens, fried rice Yangzhou style, chicken fried noodles - Cantonese style, fried toffees with nuts, king milk pancake and more... There's an interesting offer too. Women who go in groups of six or more are entitled to a 50 per cent discount.
