Vibrant colours, textures

Sona Weder's works at Yamini

YAMINI, THE chain of home textile stores, has moved location to Haudin Road, On Ulsoor lake. The store is now spread over two floors with the large space affording more comprehensive product assortment.

The new store is marked by an exhibition of unusual wall objects. Created by Goa-based artist Sona Weder, these abstract works draw on plant material such as seeds and leaves, building on their natural form and texture with the intense use of colour.

The other things available in the store are upholstery fabric by the metre in cotton and silk, curtains, cushion covers, throws and dhurries, bedcovers, towels, and bath mats, table mats, table cloths, napkins and runners.
