Two for 21

YET ANOTHER in the city: Nirula's has come out with its outlet number 2 in Gurgaon at MGF, Metro Hall. As one of the successful restaurant chains in the nation they have been experimenting to meet the demand and supply theory. 21's is the name of this outlet. So what is so special with the name? Officials say: "21 is the number of ice creams which are always there." Besides 21 regulars there are other flavours too. This month features a Mango Special for the mango crazy people, and July will see a Gulab Special. Another special offer this month is the availability of several flavours in 500 ml. tubs available for Rs.87. These include mango, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and pineapple pop. Among sundaes that this company is already famous for, is the unique Black Forest sundae.

Nirula's is not only about ice creams. There is a lot more to the bistro, including a wide selection of beverages, sandwiches, desserts, cookies, sodas, shakes and pizzas. The Nirula's pizzas are specialities in themselves. Indian delicacies rub shoulders with fast foods from the West. Try the Paneer Tikka, Green Chilli and Chicken Tikka or Red Chilli Pizzas. 21's doesn't offer home deliveries, as they believe some products lose their charm on delivery.

Nirula's also has tie-ups with brands like Lerros. The company has also reached out to PVRs for cross promotion. Apart from the two outlets of 21's in Delhi there are 4 more such eateries outside the city and 28 family size restaurants. The future holds more for the eatery chain. They are reportedly looking towards the South at cities like Chennai and Bangalore. The officials say: "our delicacies of rich creamy ice creams have to be communicated to the other parts of the nation."

More cream for the nation's cream!
