The coolest ones

The dessert buffet at Aditya Park Inn sounds the coolest notes this summer

IT DOES not really matter if you describe summer as sizzling hot or the time for golden delicious mangoes because the dessert buffet at Aditya Park Inn with its extensive line of mango-based desserts and ice creams is a tribute to both.

From 12 p.m to 12 a.m, all epicureans can indulge their sweet tooth. Mango desserts like Mango Chantilly (delicious juicy chunks of mango served with rich sweetened cream with a touch of tang) Mango Flan (a mouth-watering open pie with layers of baked mango served with freshly whipped cream) or the Mango Trifle Choco Exotica (a trifle pudding with a mango chocolate base) beckon all with a fondness for the king among fruits. The chef recommends the unusual Frozen Mango Pudding (fresh mangoes peeled and cut into cubes, topped with castor sugar and frozen).

On the ice cream side you could try out Scotch Choco Exotica (nut butter scotch ice cream and chocolate ice cream topped with chocolate sauce, chips and cherries), Honey and Black Currant Splash (black currant, fig & honey ice cream topped with black currant crush wafers and cherries), or Nawabi Fest (a royal sundae topped with Indian dry fruits, saffron sauce, cherries and wafers). The Lip Smacking Sundae - a triple sundae with ice cream and toppings of your choice is a perfect vehicle for your creativity. The ice creams at Rs 75 and mango desserts at Rs 65 are the perfect way to chill out. The festival is on till May 30.
