Routine action flick

Raghavendra (TELUGU)

Cast: Prabhas, Anshu, Swetha Agarwal

Mus: Mani Sarma

<15,0m,,0>Dir: Suresh Krissna

IN HIS second film, Prabhas looks more confident and assertive.

Yet, he still needs to perfect his diction. Writer Posani Krishnamurali provides enough scope for action sequences, and the six-ft hero makes best use of them.

The first half of the drama is set against the backdrop of Raghavendra Swamy temple in Mantralayam, to where Raghavendra and his parents -- Murali Mohan and Prabha -- shift to avoid running into the goons who are threatening them. They even make their son take to saffron clothes and make him promise not to get violent. However, the threat continues, and Raghavendra is forced to remain silent. The story behind the threat to the family, Raghavendra's silence and his parents' plea for restraint is shown in a flash back, where the heroine (Anshu) appears.

Raghavendra waits for his parents' permission to give him permission to deal with the situation and how he does it forms the rest of the drama.

Muralimohan, Prabha, Tanikella Bharani, M.S.Narayana, Anandraj make their presence felt with their performances. Music by Mani Sarma has some western pop mix.
