Management of traffic and containing disasters is everybody's responsibility. A few points if adhered to, can work wonders:
All slow moving vehicles like bullock-carts, cycle-rickshaws should not be allowed on the main roads during peak hours.
All three-wheelers and two-wheelers must be fitted with direction indicators.
Pillion riders should not engage the driver in conversation or distract the driver.
At night avoid using the long beam in city limits.
It's time to have a few flyovers in the main areas like Jagadamba Junction and RTC Complex so that the flow of traffic could be smooth and hassle-free.
