Exams, mere farce

EXAMS are a farce and passing them is just a mere formality. An intelligent pupil, not so adept at expressing himself, is likely to fare badly whereas a mediocre student can burn the midnight oil and excel. Rehearsed answers to predictable questions have become the order of the day. Students rush through the syllabi in the last hour and that seems to be the only purpose these exams serve. But do they gain knowledge?
