Desi pizzas, desi wishes
WITH THE World Cup 2003 fever gripping us all, Pizza Hut, one of the largest pizza chain, is cashing in on the cricketing enthusiasm by including in its menu card tandoori range of pizzas. To attract its customers innovatively done tandoori pizzas are being served at all its restaurants in the Capital.
Additional television sets have been added so that customers don't miss the action. To regale its patrons Pizza Hut has a mascot in Pizza Pooch, who is geared up with pads, gloves and a willow. One can also sign on a huge board, which would be shown to the Indian eleven.
Paying homage to one of the biggest cricketing extravaganzas six new pizzas - three vegetarians and three non-vegetarians - would be served. Catering to Indian taste buds tandoori range has a distinct Indian flavour and offers traditional toppings like barbecued shrimps, chicken, potato wedges and paneer. For those who want to keep away from non-vegetarian stuff there are Veggie Tama-Tam, Aloo Attack and Paneer Punjabi pizzas.
For the non-vegetarians there are Murg Mazedar, Jhinga Zabardast and Supreme Tandoori pizzas. Murg Mazedar has succulent pieces of chicken tandoori with cheese and crisp onions. Jhinga Zabardast has rich, marinated tandoori shrimps mingled with crisp onions. Supreme Tandoori has a meaty combination of chicken tandoori, chicken tikka and cheese.
