Providing the healing touch

Grandmaster Choa Kok Sui

To match the pace of modern life, people are falling a prey to a variety of ailments and are subjected to both physical and psychological stress. Most of the sufferers are vexed with the side-effects and the fleeting relieving capacity of modern medicines. They are now looking towards the alternative sources of healing that are fast spreading for a permanent solace. The origin of most of the other sources of healing, call them yoga, meditation, Reiki, Pranic or by any other name, can be traced back to the ancient Indian practices.

These ancient healing methods are reinvented by various philosophers of the contemporary world after much research and hard work for the good of mankind. And one such man from the Philippines is Choa Kok Sui, the founder of Pranic healing practices.

At a very young age, Grandmaster Choa Kok Sui became interested in yoga, psychic phenomena, mysticism and other occult studies. While pursuing his esoteric quest that spanned over18 years he completed his engineering degree and set up a successful business simultaneously. His quest included deep research into the subjects and he spent many years amidst the mystics of India to learn about yoga, meditation and ancient scriptures and finally reinvented the art of Pranic healing in modern times with modern techniques.

He has taught thousands of people worldwide, the art of effectively healing themselves and others using simple techniques. He says that each one has the innate ability to heal. It is evident when one massages the forehead or temples or for that matter blow on a cut or burn for some relief. Through the ancient art and science of Pranic healing one can channel the same energy and develop the natural healing ability.

Pranic healing scientifically utilises the `Prana' or life force readily available in nature to heal physical and emotional imbalances, and it requires no drugs and gadgets. The healer does not even touch the patient. He or she works on the bioplasmic layer that surrounds every person. Healers say that through this technique they can not only heal simple ailments like headache, cold, toothache, etc., but also severe disorders like migraine, arthritis, asthma, kidney problems, hypertension, etc., apart from emotional and mental disorders.

To know more about this healing process meet the Grandmaster himself, who would be arriving on Friday to conduct the Arhatic retreat workshop with several students from all over the world, and will be giving a public darshan on January 27, followed by a mass healing session, at Gurazada Kalakshetram from 6 p.m. onwards.
