WITH THE end of the Diamond Season 2002 in Chennai, the Diamond Promotion Services recently held an awards ceremony at Taj Connemara to felicitate three best showrooms (Trendsmith Jewellers, Kuber Jewellery and Kirthilal Kalidas Jewellers) and three super salespersons (Vinesh of Bapalal Diamonds, Krishnamurthy of Kanishk and Joy Thomas of Original Kerala Jewellers).
Twenty-seven jewellers from the city participated in the Diamond Season, organised between November 30 and December 20 by the Diamond Trading Company. Actress Sneha presided over the function and felicitated the winners with a cash prize of Rs. 21,000.
The selection was based on customer feedback and tests from mystery callers.
