Exciting packages

GOLDEN DRAGON at the Taj Coromandel has two exciting dining packages for different client segments — "Hardy Express" for lunch and "We Are Family" for dinner.

"Hardy Express", named after Hardy Cheung, the mascot chef of Golden Dragon, is an express lunch primarily aimed at corporate executives and shoppers. Priced at Rs. 250 per head, it is based on a flexible, interactive selection that the guest can make in the restaurant. At the interactive salad bar, one can choose from a wide range of vegetables and sauces. The dimsum counter offers 16 varieties of dimsum, both veg and non-veg, which are then steamed by the chef and brought in the dimsum trolley. A choice of soups follows. The meal is rounded off with a serving of two grilled items.

"We Are Family" featuring a fixed menu is aimed at the family crowd and large groups looking for an elaborate dining experience. The menu includes a choice of three veg and non-veg main course, rice/noodles and dessert. Priced competitively, a family of four can enjoy a meal at Rs. 1,100. The rates vary depending on the size of the group. Chefs Hardy Cheung and Rahul after travelling extensively have whipped up 125 exotic Chinese delicacies with authentic ingredients. Notable among the specialities include Beijing Baked Prawns, Crispy Fried Chicken, Mongolian Fried Rice, Orange Daar Saan and Singapore Chilli Crab. Fried Bananas and Water Chestnut and Walnut Sweet Soup Date Wafer Cakes are the highlights in the dessert section. Besides, a choice of teas is also offered over lunch and dinner. So, indulge yourself!
