Pipal way to people's heart

SEND A unique work of art to your loved ones this festive season. Greetings on a pipal leaf — these cards will be treasured long after they have been sent, for their sheer beauty and craftsmanship.

As for the prices, they are quite reasonable at Rs. 15 per card, considering the amount of effort and work that go into making them.

The talented young women artists from South India carefully select each pipal leaf, which is then placed in clean well water for over a month, after which just the skeleton remains revealing a delicate design.

These leaves are then dyed in different attractive hues and pretty landscapes or other designs are depicted on them using paddy straw.

Individual orders to specifications are undertaken.

Those interested in placing bulk orders can contact 6570310 or e-mail sashikalabalaji@yahoo.com
