Clothes for all sizes

You are sure to find your pick here.

LONG OR short, tight or loose, straight or cut, whatever your preference, Sneha is sure to have something to suit your needs. This boutique, situated off Residency Road, specialises in a vast and affordable collection of ethic women's wear in every conceivable size, shape, colour, fabric, and print.

Be it the common handlooms, exquisite patterns, or intricate designs, they find a place in the store. Jute dyed in bright colours and pretty pastels, double coloured polycot, ornate zardozi work, tussar silk, and georgettes are just some of the many striking fabrics used in Sneha's collection. With looms all over the country, some of the pieces come from Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Mumbai, and Delhi, each hand picked by the proprietors to create this exclusive collection. The simpler section includes synthetics and cottons, meant for casual everyday wear. The Gurjari work, by the tribal women of Kutch and Bhuj, is popular and easy on the pocket.

Bafna, who has been in the garment industry for 25 years, started the store. Mr. Bafna has two more outlets in the City (Jayanagar and Brigade Road). Says Mr. Bafna: "We have no target segment, we are confident that anyone entering this store in search of a salwar-kurta of any sort is not just sure to find it here but also to become our long term customers."

You can also mix and match.

To make sure it caters to every customer's needs, the boutique has an entire line of kurtas and tops in extra large sizes, and to save your time and energy it also undertakes stitching orders.

The store provides mix and match material. Annother unique offer at the store is that it sells unstitched sets where two kurtas have a common salwar and duppata.

Salwar suits apart, Sneha has an interesting range of western wear on offer, which although in great quantity, lacks the quality. Priced between Rs. 40 and Rs. 600, the collection contains tops of varied fabrics and styles, including lycra, cotton knits, party wear, and casuals for everyday wear. Most of these tops are what you might find in every store down Residency Road. The western wear section, a new addition, isn't the main focus of the shop.

All in all this "complete women's store" offers its customers its best range priced between Rs. 600 and Rs. 1,300.

Sneha can be contacted on 5321775.
