Warm clothes a cool breeze away

WITH THE winters a sneeze away, Delhiites would love seeing the arrival of a cool breeze with jazzy new clothes that add to their confidence level as well as personality. An amalgamation of a formal evening garb with the denim would be perfect. Well, that is what Bizarre - which boasts of a wide assortment of fashion accessories - strives to do. It wants the cosmopolitan, urban woman, who wants to fit into garments which give her an edge over her male colleagues to wear pręt-a-porter, dazzling clothes from Bizarre collection, conceived by Puja Mehra Gupta.

Designing is an extension of creativity and there are lots of experimentations that go while preparing a denim by adding sequinned motifs, textures, surface sheens and other elements. The result is that a pair of blue jeans is metamorphosed into a fashion statement. The underlying aim is that the clothes shouldn't just look straight from the designer's workshop.

Bizarre endeavours to not only give a pret-a-porter line but also a tinge of formal dressing. In the casual there are stylish shirts, impeccably tailored jackets. Trousers are in fitted cigarette pants, bootlegged casuals and sporty capris. Skirts are in long fish cut denims, which are meant to be worn during the day-time. For men who love frequenting parties there are shirts with black leaf embroidery and red beaded stretch crop pants.
