Ghai to be juror
SUBHASH GHAI can have some fond memories now. The designer director has been invited to be a juror for the final selection of the 2002 International Emmy Awards, the announcement for which will be held in New York in November. The International Council of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is the largest organisation of global broadcasters and holds the awards event every year. The council was chartered in 1969 to honour and encourage excellence in television programming outside the U.S., and also to promote quality global programming. This year, the council is implementing a new final judging method where it will gather top television and film leaders from around the world to participate.
