The leather line

The new Palem Leathers outlet at Amrutha Mall has interesting leather buys for everybody to choose from.

ONE FOR YOU: And something for everyone.

THE IMAGE of the video pop icon Shakira sashaying on a leather belt embellished with bold metallic chunks can simply be irresistible. Well, leather couldn't have been more fashionable in the women's fashion wear. "We are the first shop in the twin cities to stock metal-worked imported leather belts for girls," says P. Srinivas Reddy, chief executive officer, Hyderabad, for Palem Leathers. The new factory outlet of Palem Leathers at Shop No. 22, Amrutha Mall, stocks these and more.

Going trendy with the times are the suave leather holders for palm tops and mobile phones apart from the regular buys in leather, such as wallets, belts, soft luggage and ladies' bags. With college season round the corner, the imported college bags and the hands-free `Khushi' bags are some of the stuff one can look up as also the teeny girlie bags in satin with a sunflower patch for those birthday party invites.

For the workplace, the A-4 size bags are `in' at the men's segment while the short handle bags in imported satin and Italian leather are a fine collection in the ladies executive line.

As for the party range, there are purses - spring green, flashy red, solid blue and shimmering gold with sequins. This line displays a riot of colours, designs and fabrics apart from leather such as corduroy, jute and more, offering a wide range to go with the party wear. For the clothesline in leather, there are the svelte skirts, trousers and jackets. One can pick up these from the collection here or go in for a tailor made outfit.

TIGHTEN UP: Ladies belts with metal work.

Apart from the leathers, the brick-a-back section is rather interesting such as the children's rack here with colourful water bottle holders, pencil cases and strolley bags! Phew, makes you want to go back to school once more.

And for times when going out with the toddler seems a sheer quandary with all the packing to do, the colourful spacious bags here seem a good alternative. Also, the feeding bottle covers in soft pink are quite an interesting pick. For the miscellaneous stuff, one can choose from the stallion key chains, colourful pouches, handy-cam bags, hand gloves, telephone table accessories and multi-utility telephone baskets. With a 30 per cent discount being offered here, one can check out this new store that has something for everyone for sure.
