Fun-filled event

A GREAT day for rejoicing at Cilantro's, the multi-cuisine eat-out, after those 40 long days of fasting. The most happening place saw yet another event of pomp and show with the largest bunny in town for Easter Brunch. Kids were thrilled to see `Le Bunny' the Easter bunny that entertained them with games, the Royal Easter Egg Treasure Hunt and a dip in the pool.

Music on the occasion was jazz with "Buzz of the Trio" keeping up the beat. The elders were busy selecting their own fare from the spread, which was put together with the aroma of the East and the West. The line-up of the Continental roulades, ragouts and quiches and pastas and the hot Chinese, Thai and Indian food was unique.

While chefs prepared the best of dosais and aapams, the tandoor churned out fresh kebabs and rotis throughout the session. The festive spirit caught on as the grand roasted turkey was carved. Then came the desserts with all one can think of — the delicious Charlotte Rousse, Turtle Ribbon Gateau and a whole lot of sweets from the Halwai to top it all.

The best moments were every kid walked away with an Easter egg and other goodies and a promise by shaking the bunny's hand to return for the next year's celebrations with the same festive spirit.
