Homam for prosperity
The annual month-long Maha Ganapathy homam will be performed for general prosperity, from July 17 to August 16 during the Tamil month of Aadi at Sri Muthannaval Samadhi premises at Sengalipuram in Tiruvarur district.
The homam will be performed by vedic scholars under the guidance of A.Advarapathy Dikshitar, Agnihotri and Mantramoorthy of Sengalipuram, hailing from the family of late Anantharama Dikshithar, exponent in religious discourses and vedic scholar.
Advarapathy Dikshitar said that besides the Maha Ganapathy homam, several other pujas and homams including Dharana Saraswathi Mahamantra Japa homam and Medha Suktha Japam would be performed during the period.
