Confident stand

Rajendra Kumar is another enthusiastic first time director. After having assisted Rama. Narayanan along with director Paerarasu, Rajendra Kumar takes off on his own with `Thodaamalae,' starring Narain and Uma. But isn't `Chiththiram Pasudhadi's hero also Narain? "Yes. That's why now we are scouting for another name for our hero. Rajendra Kumar's brother Pugazhmani is the writer of `Thodaamalae' and its line sounds new. "This love story is about incidents that begin and end in 24 hours. We have taken a very new route." Rajendra Kumar sounds very confident.
