Kavitta Vermma's debut film exposes the film world.
After giving us movies like "Khamosh", "Return of Jewel Thief", "Love in Nepal" and "Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam"director T.P. Aggarwal is ready with another movie "Manoranjan - The other Side of Entertainment" scheduled for release in April.
Aggarwal seems to have taken a leaf from Madhur Bhandarkar, whose "Page 3" exposes the darker side of socialites. Aggarwal's film exposes the darker side of Bollywood. Aggarwal introduces Kavitta Vermma in this film. This Delhi-based actress is a science graduate from Delhi University. Though she believes that "acting comes from within", nonetheless, for formal training she joined the National School of Drama.
Hitherto, she worked with many theatre actors as Naseeruddin Shah, Anuradha Kapoor among others. Kavitta plays the lead role in the film while Aditi Govitrikar and Vijay Raaz play other vital roles. About her role Kavitta says, "I play a simple, orphan girl from a small town who lives with her uncle. Because of some reasons the girlleaves her village and lands up in Mumbai. There she meets an upcoming actress and her life changes drastically." Though Kavitta wanted to be doctor, she couldn't resist taking up the opportunity to work in films, "with a good script" as she believes, when it knocked on her door. But she insists, "Ibelieve in good script rather than seeing who all are working with me." Let's hope she keeps to her word.
