Hi-tech and trendy `Ashok'


With the advancement of technology, film production is reaching new heights. N.T. Ramarao's latest film Ashok is being shot with the latest trendy camera Super 35mm. The producer reportedly spent Rs. 25 lakh to buy the accessories of the camera from Germany.

Moreover, he had also spent another Rs. 60 lakh to erect a street set for the film in Hyderabad. The costumes of the artistes were specially designed and brought from countries like Germany, Singapore and Hong Kong. Sameera Reddy is pairing up with N.T.R. for the film while Surender of Athanokkade-fame is directing the film, being produced by Valluripalli Ramesh Babu on the banner of Maharshi Cinema. The film will be ready for release in the first week of April next year.

'Jai Chiranjeeva' set to release


Chiranjeevi's latest film Jai Chiranjeeva would hit theatres on December 21. Trivikram penned the story and dialogues for the film.

The audio of the film, which was released recently is doing good business and Chiranjeevi plays the role of Satyanarayana Murthy. Part of this film was shot in the U.S.

Raviteja, Rajamouli join hands


Raviteja and S.S. Rajamouli are coming together for a film that is all set to go on the floors on December 11. The film, story for which is penned by Vijayendra Prasad, is being produced by M.L. Kumar Choudhary on the banner of Keerthi Creations, while M.M. Keeravani will provide music. If everything goes well, Anushka of Superand Mahanandi fame will pair up with Raviteja.

Tammareddy's next


Tammareddy Bharadwaja's new film Pothe Ponee is likely to release in the third week of December. The director claims it is his best film so far and says "it is close to my heart." Sindhu Tolani plays an important role in the film, while Shiva Balaji is the male lead. The film has some good tunes from Micky J. Meyer. Produced on the banner of Dreamteam Entertainments, is all about bringing peace to Naxal-infested villages in Telangana. However, Bharadwaja claims that it also has a beautiful love story and soothing music.
